Özet
This study presents the development of a high-performance brushless direct current (BLDC) motor control system. The proposed system incorporates rapid control prototyping (RCP) enabling flexible and efficient controller design. The motor driver and main control system components of a BLDC motor, particularly intended for Electric Scooter (E-Scooter), were designed properly. A prototype driver was developed to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed BLDC control system. The main control unit was implemented as a microprocessor-based interface card, with system parameters adjustable within the MATLAB/Simulink environment. The capability of adjusting and optimizing all controller parameters and functions in MATLAB/Simulink allows various control strategies, such as Proportional-Integral-based (PI) controllers, to be implemented with significantly reduced development time. One controller structure can be rapidly deployed to ensure high-performance traction under high-speed and high-acceleration operating conditions, while another can be configured to maximize energy efficiency under relatively low-speed and low-acceleration conditions. As a result, a flexible BLDC motor control system with tuneable controller coefficients and adaptable drive strategies was successfully developed, providing a rapid prototyping platform suitable for e-scooter integration.
