Özet
In reverse supply chain management, products are collected from the end user and passed through various stages up to the waste recovery plants. In this study, a goal programming model is proposed for reverse logistics operations planning that considers the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) from customer service locations to the recovery facility. The locations of these are known in advance. Sustainability is addressed in social, environmental and economic dimensions. The economic dimension usually provides maximization of profits or minimization of losses. On the other hand, the environmental dimension is aimed at reducing the greatest damage to the environment. Minimization of carbon dioxide emissions is frequently used for this purpose. The social dimension is used to ensure fairness in working conditions. In addition to this triple-bottom-line of sustainability, new legal regulations on the collection and recycling of WEEE are being made. The targets of these regulations that are put into practice define various objectives on the companies and organizations. When all these objectives were considered, it was decided to make operational planning using the goal programming method. The developed model was created by considering the collection and recycling regulations and conditions of WEEE in Turkey. Besides the current situation is discussed and analyzed based on the WEEE data that belongs to refrigerator products recovery.
