Abstract
The significance of color management, which allows the deterministic handling of color data from input to output, in printing operation is discussed. Proper color management ensures that right color input profile are used and there is no error in the input definitions. Spatial characteristics can be used to derive and deduce color characteristics. Proper color management allows the necessary abstrations and it eliminates the different problems arising in the printing operations.
