Abstract

In this paper, combination of transmit antenna selection and super-orthogonal space-time trellis coding technique is proposed, the transmit antenna selection criterion is given and the error performance curves obtained by computer simulations for quasi-static Rayleigh fading channels are presented. It is shown that the proposed scheme provides much better error performance than the conventional spacetime coding schemes with transmit antenna selection.
