Abstract

An investigation has been conducted into the physical and chemical properties of triglyceride oils obtained from seeds recovered from the pot-still distillation residues of water-mashed and fermented raisins of Turkish origin. The conditions for the inter-esterification of these oils with both methyl and ethyl alcohols have been studied, and the technical properties of the corresponding derivatives have been determined with respect to their evaluations as alternative diesel fuels.
