Abstract
Copper and zinc results of 98 rock samples, obtained by the colorimetric method were analysed statistically. Linear, quadratic and cubic trend surface analysis were applied to both original copper and zinc values and also to the copper/zinc ratios. Only quadratic trend surfaces were calculated for residual copper and zinc values. Goodness of fit method was also applied to the results obtained by trend surface analysis. -from Authors
