Abstract

In this study, the synthesis of novel three molecular cages based on bis-structure of 8,16-methano-16H-dinaphtho[2,1-d: 1’,2’-g][1,3]dioxocine (DNDO) is reported. The linkers between bis-DNDO structures are bearing both etheric structures and bis(1,2,3-triazole) moieties that are acting also as coordination ligands. The cavities of the molecular cages change depending of the position of dioxocine ring oxygens.
