Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship among Sustainable Development, GDP and Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Turkey. The statistical data collected from Turkish Statistical Institute, International Energy Agency and United Nations are analyzed. In this paper, we are going to introduce some tables and figures that reveals the past situation and current status regarding sustainable development, annual gdp by production approach and greenhouse gas emission. Moreover, an investigation will be conducted whether or not there exist any connection among them. Finally, we are going to conduct a comparison of different countries-developed and developing- that may have a positive impact towards sustainable development. Findings will be discussed in terms of Sustainable Development Goals followed by United Nations.
