Abstract
The method of auxiliary sources is used in the spectral problem for 2D and 3D electromagnetic resonators. Instead of traditional solution methods, based on the search of nonzero roots of homogenous equation system, in this work the problem is reduced to the solution of the nonhomogeneous system which simplifies the solution of the stated problem. Considering the diffraction problem on concrete objects and calculating the frequency characteristic for them, the resonant frequencies are determined, corresponding to their eigen values, at which the inner resonant field is excited as a standing wave. The obtained results confirm the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
