Abstract
The method of auxiliary sources is applied to solve problems of electromagnetic wave diffraction by certain metal-dielectric structures that are finite 3D periodic lattices embedded in an ordinary dielectric. On the basis of the structures under study, the possibilities of designing antenna devices with a desired pattern and the rotating polarization are considered. A software packet is developed for computer simulation of such structures. The software is oriented to performing the corresponding computational experiments.
