Abstract
This paper presents and discusses the results of a detailed study, which is based on industrial circuit testing on the subject of comparison of cement grinding flowsheet configurations. The existing two parallel combi-grinding lines, which have the same technical feature, were amended by convertible material feeding systems to examine the effect of flowsheets design on the energy consumption level, circuit capacity and product quality at Nuh Cement Plant in Turkey. The new term defining the circuit efficiency was developed in this study which enlighten cement producers to compare the various grinding flowsheet configurations for new and expansion projects.
