Abstract

In this study, a reconfigurable subarray element design is made using even, odd, and the combination of these two modes for a rectangular patch antenna. The antenna type used is two quarter-wavelength patch antennas that are adjacent and short-circuited to each other. This design aims to propose solutions to the insulation problem encountered in the literature. In the sub-array design, increasing isolation is aimed for, and for this purpose, slots to the ground plane, isolation wall, and metal surface design have been included in the designed antenna structure. The targeted |S12| value has been achieved.
