Abstract
In the paper, variable structure systems (VSS) with time delay in phase variables are considered. The parametrical conditions of the existence of sliding modes with linear switching function in VSS with standard control laws are give. Without using complex and difficult for realization on standard elements of automata switching functional, that is, not using non-standard control laws, ample scope for functional possibilities of control algorithms is shown. It is possible to overcome difficulties arising due to the effect of delay white the analysis of the stability of the system by means of a proper choice of Lyapunov-Krasovski V-functional in the form of 'full quadratic form of variables plus integral from square of delay term'.
