Abstract

New approaches to solving the synthesis problem for a periodic grating from the incomplete set of scattering characteristics given in the frequency range or (and) on the interval of angles of incidence of plane waves are presented. These schemes are based on the idea of quasi-linearization of integral expressions of potential theory and allow one to obtain satisfactory results in long wavelength and, partially, in resonant (with respect to the grating sizes) ranges. The efficiency of the corresponding algorithms has been verified numerically.
