Abstract
Four crown ether substituted cofacial bis-phthalocyanines were prepared by the cyclic condensation of dihydroxy groups of pentaerythritol moieties of phthalocyanine with tetraethyleneglycol ditosylate in the presence of NaH as base in refluxing THF.
