Abstract
A method to determine the surface impedance of a planar boundary through the remote field measurements is addressed. The surface impedance is recovered from the boundary condition itself, which requires knowledge of the field distribution and its derivative on the surface. The measured data is analytically continued to the boundary to obtain the required field expressions.
