Abstract

In this work, it is presented clinical results for the detection and classification of breast cancer through the microwave imaging device SAFE. SAFE uses novel corrugated Vivaldi antennas to collect data in the frequency range of 0.5-8 GHz. For the classification Support Vector Machine Algorithm is used. It has been shown that the method achieves the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of 95%, 92%, and 93%, respectively.
