Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the static analysis of symmetrically and anti-symmetrically laminated elastic orthotropic composite circular rods with rectangular cross-section under the influence of distributed forces based on the mixed finite element method with Timoshcnko theory. The Poisson's ratios are incorporated in the constitutive relation.
