Abstract

Complementary spectroscopic methods such as FTIR, FT Raman and XPS are applied in this work in order to investigate the surface of acrylic cements after electrolytic deposition of collagen. As an alternative of antibiotic, silver oxide was incorporated in the polymethyl metacrylate (PMMA) matrix and structural properties are discussed by comparing the information obtained using these methods.
