Abstract
The Bowen ratio energy balance method (BREB) showed higher values than those measured by using the eddy correlation method, due to the negative effect of wind direction on the eddy correlation method and were also due to insufficient fetch length. In this study, the invariable BREB system, including fixed temperature and humidity sensors, was used for the first time to measure the evapotranspiration of soybean. A good correlation was determined between the measured evapotranspiration values of variable and invariable BREB systems under the conditions of the same elevations for the sensors in both systems (r2 = 0.82). -from English summary
