Abstract

In this study, EM wave propagation, which is an important phenomenon for EMC/EMI engineering, is discussed with signal processing aspects. The problem is defined in both micro and macro scales, then frequency and time domain numerical modeling techniques for radiowave propagation, which is chosen as a macro scale problem for EMC, are discussed in detail. The difficulties of both Split Step Parabolic Equation (SSPE) and Time-Domain Wave Propagator (TDWP) are discussed in terms of signal processing aspects.
