Abstract

arbon nanotubes possess an incredible strength, being hundred times stronger than steel, and yet six times lighter. What confers on them their extraordinary strength? When we consider these tiny particles we observe a big increase in surface area. There resides in the unexplained mystery of nanomaterials [1].
