Abstract
In this paper, primarily, stochastic analysis of M out of N (M/N) detector which is used in digital receivers of electronic warfare (EW) systems is performed, and the proposed method for designing double threshold M/N detector that satisfies EW system requirements at lowest SNR level is detailed. It is verified with simulations that the designed M/N detector minimizes SNR level while satisfying EW system requirements.
