Abstract
In this study, a new topology that realizes the behavior of a meminductor without the use of external passive elements is proposed. This topology consists of two integrators and an operational transconductance amplifier. When compared with similar circuits presented in the literature, it is predicted that the proposed circuit occupies less area on the entire chip than circuits implemented with external passive elements. To demonstrate the feasibility of the circuit, simulation results are obtained using 0.18 µm CMOS parameters in the Cadence design environment. These findings confirm the accuracy of the theoretical analysis and the effective applicability of the proposed structure.
