Abstract
Limitations of the reflection seismic method are discussed and some typical pitfalls in the interpretation of reflection seismic sections are illustrated by examples taken from the section 7908 shot across the Mors salt diapir (PRAKLA-SEISMOS 1979). The necessity of incorporating other relevant information of geophysical as well as geological nature in the interpretation procedure is emphasized. -from English summary
