Abstract

In the present study, the solutions obtained using the infinitesimal deformation (ID) approach, the crystallographical parameters such as the habit plane orientation, the total shape deformation of the product phase, the magnitude of the total shape deformation, etc., for the alloy In-20.75 at % Tl are compared with the results numerically obtained from the Bowles-Mackenzie (B-M) theory. It can be seen that there is excellent agreement between the results of the ID and the BM theory.
