Abstract

Optimization of slag composition has great importance on effective and clean metal production technologies. Reddy-Blander (KB) model, a priori, is very useful tool for prediction of impurity capacities of industrial slags. In this study, sulfide capacities (Cs) of 19 lead smelter slags indicated in the literature were calculated and effects of Cs values on sulfur content of lead bullions were discussed.
