Abstract

The definition of the power in three-phase systems under non-sinusoidal conditions is becoming more and more difficult problem. Some theories have already been proposed to face this problem, but the proposed solutions are not completely satisfactory, in particular when unsymmetrical and unbalanced systems are concerned. The mathematical model of a polyphase unsysmmetrical multiport network is given in the present paper. The power components of this system are obtained by using this multi-terminal model. Additionally, mathematical models and power components of the sequence network are given in the case that non-linear multiport is symmetrical.
