Abstract

The authors compared the pilling and abrasion resistance of worsted fabrics woven from sirospun and two-fold ring yarns. The results of the tests for fabric performance characteristics show clearly that the two yarns are quite comparable when the optimum conditions are provided in the production process. Fabrics resisted pilling and abrasion to very similar levels, and have a similar appearance.
