Abstract
The effects of winding, doubling and twisting on the physical properties of poly/viscose yarns were investigated. The authors found that the hairiness of single yarns diminishes with the increase in twist. Winding increased thick places and neps considerably. The strength, elongation and rupture of the yarns increases and evenness is enhanced after the yarns are doubled and twisted.
