Abstract

Optimization of doubly connected variable-structure automatic control systems is discussed. The formulated optimization problem, based on minimization of quadratic functionals on sliding motion solutions, is reduced to a typical problem in mathematical programming, solved by the method of successive minimization without restrictions. A numerical example is given.
