Abstract

A versatile current-mode multifunction filter is described which can easily be used to derive current conveyor-based current-mode filters of specific types including nth-order allpass and nth-order all-pole lowpass filters as well as nth-order bandpass and highpass filters. Due to a newly expressed property about current conveyor-based networks, a method for the realization of this multifunction filter is given. It has to be noted that the resulting filters have very attractive features such as low number of active elements and good sensitivity performances. Experimental and SPICE simulation results verifying theoretical analysis are also included.
