N2 - The monitoring system with MLP and RBF network has been developed for NPP. MLP is used to detect the symptom of anomalies and RBF network is used to identify the abnormal events. From the off-line test results using PWR simulator, it is clear that the monitoring system can successfully detect and diagnose small anomalies earlier than the conventional alarm system.
