Abstract

Transformation of different living and non-living polymerization mechanisms to controlled/'living' atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) in order to prepare block and graft copolymers is described. The synthesis and characterization of macroinitiators and the resulting segmented copolymers is discussed.
