Abstract

In this paper, media-based modulation (MBM) and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) are combined, and the NOMA-based two-way MBM system is proposed. The average bit error probability expressions of the users for the proposed twouser and single-relay system are obtained analytically by using the union-bound method. Analytical results are compared with the computer simulations, and it is shown that the results are in agreement. It has been also shown that the proposed system provides better error performance compared to the conventional two-way NOMA system.
