Abstract

Point process recursive filters are used for estimating variables that drive point processes. One application of these filters is neural spike train decoding. Here, a new method is developed for estimating the phase spectrum of a point process recursive filter that has been used for spike train decoding. The results suggest that this method can be used in neural data analysis applications.
