Abstract
A new pipe conveyor transport system installed for Nuh cement in Turkey is discussed. As a completely closed conveying system, the pipe conveyor allows dust free transport of material with no contamination of the surrounding environment. The pipe conveyor is used for the transportation of cement, clinker and coal in the plant. The newly opened tunnel and installed pipe conveyor system have resulted in the improvements of energy savings, minimal disturbance of the ecosystem, and increase of transportation speed in a safer manner.
