Abstract

In this work a new global hybrid optimization algorithm is developed and applied to some test problems. New algorithm is based on Controlled Random Search (CRS) procedure for global optimization and Adaptive Complex Method `Acomplex'. New algorithm is examined both theoretically and numerically. The performance of the hybrid and various global optimization algorithms are compared. The results of test with classical global optimization problems show that the hybrid algorithm compares favorably with the best alternatives.
