Abstract

A new synthesis method based on signal-flow graph is given for the realization of any n-th-order voltage transfer function by the active RC circuit involving n grounded capacitors, n + 2 current feedback amplifiers and at most 3n + 2 resistors which are either grounded or virtually grounded. This number of resistors can also be reduced to 2n + 3 by slightly modifying the proposed configuration. The use of commercially available active component simplifies the implementation, and it makes the proposed circuit attractive.
