Abstract

In this paper, numerical and experimental analyses of both dual band loop Quasi-Yagi Antenna and miniaturized virtual array of the same structure are studied. These both design operates at free band (2.4-2.48 GHz) and planned 5G mobile communication band (3.4-3.8 GHz). Here, by introducing the virtual array concept, comparison between single element and the array structure are done. Proposed design is validated by High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and also measurements for each antennas are carried out on fabricated prototype.
