Abstract
Characteristic rheological parameters, such as apparent viscosity, shear stress, yield value, plastic viscosity, of Na-peptized bentonite were studied after adding NaCl and CaCl2 electrolytes. Changes in flow properties under the influence of additives at different quantities were investigated in bentonite dispersions. The experimental results are discussed in terms of types and concentrations of electrolytes.
