Abstract

Remote sensing data are used in order to support military and civil applications. Many algorithms are available for SAR processors in order to process SAR raw data. Most commonly used algorithm is Range Doppler Algorithm. Main objective of this work is to develop a SAR processor. Considering different SAR systems, different imaging modes of those systems and available SAR processing algorithms, we start with a certain system and an algorithm. A digital SAR processor which runs on MATLAB and which can process raw data of ERS-2 satellite using Range Doppler Algorithm is developed. This processor could be used as a module or subprogram together with another program that processes different SAR data using different SAR processing algorithms.
