N2 - Microstrip antennas which have been developed primarily in the last 15 years are receiving the creative attentions of engineers and researchers throughout the world. As a result, microstrip antennas have quickly evolved from a research novelty to practical reality, with applications in a wide variety of microwave systems. Although microstrip antennas represent a significant advance in the field of antenna technology, it must be noted that it is usually their non-electrical characteristics that make microstrip antennas preferred over the other structures. Microstrip antennas have a low profile and having light weights are well suited to integration with microwave integrated circuits (MICs). The other importent features of the microstrip antennas are; low profile form factor, potentially low costs, conformability with mounting structures, easy integration with planar circuitry, capability of providing the linear dual and circular polarizations and versatile feed geometries. A Ku receiver, with dual steerable beam which is, small, easy to integrate, effective is designed. With this system it will be possible to track two different satellites simultaneously which are located at different positions on the orbit. In this work, solving methods for both electromagnetic and electronic circuit problems are investigated and developed and the optimum antenna structure which meets the requirement is proposed.
