Abstract
Indoor positioning problem is required to be tackled by designing and applying a positioning infrastructure with sensors specific to the given indoors area because no reliable Global Positioning System data could be provided unlike in the outdoors positioning. In this paper a Bluetooth Low Energy compliant, low power transmitter is designed, benchmarked against its competitors and its effectiveness is demonstrated.
