Abstract
The author details the existing range of sewing threads and their respective properties, including natural, synthetic, core-spur and heat-resistant Threads. Tables show the end uses of sewing threads, properties of heat resistant sewing threads and their end uses, and typical sewing thread properties. Sewability of threads is also discussed.
