Abstract
In this paper, He's energy balance method based on collocation method is extended in order to obtain high accuracy for nonlinear oscillators. To illustrate the effectiveness of the method Duffing oscillator was chosen. The maximum relative errors of Duffing oscillator read 2.22% and 0.77% for the first and second order approximation, respectively. The third order approximation has the accuracy as high as 0.01% for all values of oscillation amplitude.
