Abstract

Ordinary fuzzy sets have been recently extended to intuitionistic and hesitant fuzzy sets, which are frequently used for the solution of decision-making problems. All these extensions aim at better defining the membership values or functions of the considered parameters. In this paper we develop a hesitant fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method involving multi-experts' linguistic evaluations aggregated by ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator. The developed hesitant fuzzy AHP method is applied to a multicriteria supplier selection problem.
