Abstract

This paper presents a dual-band and dual-polarized antenna design operating at 1.8 GHz and 3.6 GHz frequency bands. The 1.8 GHz frequency is typically used for mobile communication systems (e.g., GSM), while the 3.6 GHz frequency is suitable for 5G wireless communication applications. The antenna provides both vertical and horizontal polarization across two distinct frequency bands, making it highly applicable to wireless communication systems requiring multi-band and dual-polarized antennas. The antenna is fed using an aperture-coupled feeding method, ensuring high isolation and minimal interference. According to the simulation results, the antenna achieves low return loss and high gain.
