Abstract

Fuzzy logic which can be defined as a mathematical model to study and define uncertainties is used in many part of the textile industry; such as velocity control of machines, yarn count estimations, knitting parameters, color classifications etc. In an attempted to describe how the fuzzy logic is employed in textile industry, fuzzy logic was described briefly at the beginning of the study. Later many up to date articles which explained the application of fuzzy logic to textile industry were reviewed.
