Abstract

The application of fractional solutions of Helmholtz equation in scattering problems was discussed. It was observed that the Helmholtz equation can be considered as generalization of well-known Green's theorem for the case of fractional derivatives. It was also observed that the fractional boundary conditions can be effectively used to simulate impedance boundary conditions for planar surfaces. The usage of fractional derivatives enables to present the relationship between different solutions for materials with different properties.
